…the neighbour who boils water every single night without fail, at some-time-past-eleven. i can hear the kettle whistling from my room. recently, the kettle goes off twice a night… a very thirsty neighbour with strange nocturnal drinking habits? or just polly with her kettle?

…the fact that you have to exercise really hard both to gain weight and to lose weight. how does that work??

…the fact that ants can discover food less than five minutes after you lay it out, before the humans even realise that the food is ready.

…my dreams. i dreamt that i could roll my rrrr-s. ’nuff said for now.

…the idea that i am walking on a planet that is round. yes, that still amazes me, really.
