hello world!

i decided to move away from my long-held, previously anonymous blog and make my public blogging debut.

i will keep that old blog for whining purposes, but that does not mean i will not whine here. you can take a person away from the whine, but you can never take the whine out of a person. (alright, maybe that was a bad twist on a good line.) still, for the most part, i will try to sound like one of those incredibly interesting and intelligent bloggers who actually have an audience… failing which, i will just whine about my life in two different spaces on the world wide web. i’m flexible, and better yet, i’m singaporean – there is always a plan b.

why ’no uppercase’ then? simply because there are too many blogs in the world now, and everything else i wanted to use as a domain name (which actually mean something vis-a-vis my life and my blog) had already been taken. i checked them out – they were all blogs that petered out after a single entry. that is sad, and an absolute waste of good domain names, but i do not whine about inconsequential things like that, so i will let it go. there is so much more in life i could whine about – my weight, the pervasive-ness of donuts and chocolates, strange people on the subway, strange people everywhere else…

and i’ve always had a thing for ee cummings’ poetry. and it does save time typing.
